Date

• Please make sure the date you pick will work for you and your family. I schedule my time away from my family around my sessions, so unless there is crazy weather I will not plan on canceling the shoot. ​

Location

• I have a wonderful list of favorite locations around the Kansas City area that I can send your way if you're needing some ideas.​

• I'm also happy to explore new locations with you if you have a specific spot in mind.

Time of day

• For outdoor sessions I personally like the time just around sunrise or about an hour or so before sunset. The lighting is typically easier to manipulate because of how directional it is. But if you need the session to be at another time in the day we can make it work.

• For indoor sessions I usually like mid morning or mid afternoon.

Extras

• Horses - ​For an additional $50 horses can be added to Senior, Engagement and Side Quest sessions. There are a variety of colors and sizes of horses to match your vision.

• Time - If you feel like you need more time for your session that can be added for an additional fee.

• Outfits - If you are interested in changing outfits, that does take extra time and will be an additional $25 if it is not included in your session.

• Other - We can definitely customize a session that is unique for you if you don't see what you're looking for on my services.

To secure a session date I require a booking fee

• A nonrefundable $50 booking fee is due at the time of booking and is deducted from the total cost of the shoot. The booking fee is to secure your specific date and time that I can no longer offer other clients. Due to the potential loss of business, if you need to change your booked session for personal reasons, there will be an additional booking fee charged to secure your new session date and time.

• Your booking fee can be paid through either Venmo or PayPal

• If inclement weather is expected on your session date, we’ll work together to reschedule for a new date that works for both of us. Your booking fee will seamlessly transfer to the rescheduled session.

• Your date is not secured until your booking fee has been paid.

The week of your session:

• I’ll reach out to touch base, go over any final details, and make sure we’re all set for your photos.

• I’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather throughout the week and will communicate if anything looks questionable—because no one wants photos taken in the middle of a rainstorm.

• If you have any last-minute questions, outfit concerns, or anything at all you’re unsure about, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to help.

The day of your session:

• The remaining balance for your session will be due prior to or at the time of your shoot.

• Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early for your session and I will plan to do the same so we have time to find one other and get set up for your session.

After your session

Once your session is complete and I have received your full payment I will pull in your photos and begin the culling process.

• In a typical 1 hour session there are well over 1,000 photos to sort through. I will remove duplicates and any photos that do not reach my standard.

• I will then do some LIGHT editing.

Once I have culled down the photos I will send you a link and password to your UNFINISHED album.

• You will have the opportunity to select the photos you would like in your finished album by creating a "favorites list."​

• You can create and add photos to your "favorites list" by selecting the heart icon at the left corner of the images.

• To make the favorites list it will require you to create an account so it can secure your favorites list by connecting it to your email address.

Session Add-Ons

Each session includes a limited number of professionally edited high resolution digital images. If you fall in love with more photos, you’re welcome to add additional images to your final gallery.

• Additional Edited Images​ - $10 per image.

• Full Gallery Upgrade - Check your specific service for Full Gallery Upgrade price.

Once you’ve made your selections, final editing will begin after payment for the additional images is received via Venmo or PayPal.

Receiving your finished image collection

You can expect your completed album within 2 - 3 weeks after you have selected your photos.

• I'll plan on sending you some sneak peeks before I've completed your session

I'll send you a link to your password protected album

• I would suggest downloading your complete album to a secure location

• You should also be able to download individual photos to your phone
